Zeomatrix Places in Top Ten in Pitch Competition...
The movers and shakers of Maine's Creative Economy attended the Juice 2.0 Conference held in Camden ME on Nov 13 & 14. Along with many breakout sessions, the conference hosted a Pitch Competion in which participants, vying for the $25k cash prize, were invited to give a 5-minutes elevator pitch. Susan MacKay, president of Zeomatrix, was proud to place in the top 10 and was allowed to go on to the second round.
Susan was quoted in the BDN article covering the Juice Conference.
"Susan MacKay, president of clean technology start-up Zeomatrix in Orono, said she relished the chance to practice her “elevator pitch,” a five-minute presentation about her company, aimed at possible investors.
“The problem: Production of biofuels is too expensive,” she said in the Maine Clean and Green Technologies break-out session. “The solution: Reduce biofuels production costs.”
